Mediterranean cuisine in the heart of Marina di Portisco
The Matt´s Mare offers typical Mediterranean dishes, mostly seafood dishes, prepared with fresh local fish.
At our restaurant we have combined our decade-long experience and careful market research to have a top quality selection of crustaceans like lobsters, prawns, king prawns, as well as excellent whitefish such as diplodus, corvina, sea bass, gilthead bream and groupers, to offer delicious cooked and raw fish courses. To complete this fine fish menu, we have added shellfish like mussels, venus clams and oysters.
Pizza and pasta are entirely homemade, including the stuffed pasta and an I.G.P selection from the Gragnano pasta factory, where pasta is made with bronze draw-plates and is gluten free. All desserts are homemade, and prepared with free-range eggs, fresh cream and milk and high quality chocolate (Valhrona).
